Mozambique: Tete registers over 133,000 new first-grade enrolments for the 2025 academic year

The province of Tete has enrolled 133,334 new first-grade students for the 2025 academic year.
This figure represents 84.4% of the planned target, which aimed to enrol 159,000 students.
According to the provincial director of education, 66,794 of the enrolled children are girls.
Pedro Sapange emphasised that the enrolment process will continue in schools that have not yet reached the target.
