The National Inspection of Economic Activities (INAE) in Niassa is intensifying efforts to combat opportunistic practices in commercial establishments during the festive season.
INAE’s actions focus on controlling price speculation, the sale of expired products, hoarding, hygiene, workplace safety, and other violations.
Zacarias Semente, an INAE technician in Niassa, stated that a parallel awareness campaign is underway to educate economic agents about regulations and encourage consumers to report violations.
To this end, INAE has established five mobile provincial-level brigades and is actively involving district governments in this campaign, which will continue until January 10.
