Mozambique: Cambezo wins top prize at Ngoma Moçambique 2024

Renowned Mozambican musician Cambezo has won the Best Song Award at the 36th edition of Ngoma Moçambique. As the winner, Cambezo will receive a brand-new Toyota Belta 2023, sponsored by Electricidade de Moçambique.
The announcement was made on Sunday during the final broadcast of the Ngoma Moçambique 2024 program, which also honored several other artists:
Lifetime Achievement Award: Wazimbo
Female Revelation: Lenna Bahule (Eu quero ser)
Male Revelation: Bruno Caliano (Nkhalamba in’funa cithandizo)
Best Female Voice: Onésia Muholove (Nzilo Tá Fulene)
Best Male Voice: Deltino Guerreiro (Ettuniya)
Most Voted Song: Vittó (Awawé)
The gala for the 2024 season will be held on a date to be announced later, during which the winners will officially receive their prizes.
Best Song: Mangwana – Cambezo
Most Voted Song: Awawé – Vittó
Best Female Voice: Nzilo Tá Fulene – Onésia Muholove
Best Male Voice: Ettuniya – Deltino Guerreiro
Lifetime Achievement Award: Wazimbo
