This afternoon, Momade Mucanheia will launch his book “Extractive Industry and Local Content in Mozambique” at the Mozambique-China Cultural Center in Maputo.
The book delves into topics related to the extractive industry—including oil and gas, electricity and renewable energy, mining, and the environment—examining local content through the lens of value chains, regulations, stakeholders, and projects.
It serves as a tool for the economic, political, and social management of natural resources, aiming to expand and accelerate the integration of local content into the value chains of the extractive industry. Additionally, it highlights Mozambique’s potential to attract sustainable investments.
