Amnesty International urges PGR to investigate the disappearance of Arlindo Chissale

One of Beatriz Buchili’s last formal acts as Attorney-General of the Republic (PGR) was the identification of nine more citizens, including two foreigners, for their involvement in the “commitment of terrorism crimes, their financing and related crimes” in Northern Mozambique.
The aforementioned are Mozambicans Domingos Vasco, 21 years of age, Abudo Anli, 22 years of age, Amade Eduardo Abudo, 23 years of age, Eduardo Abudo, 77 years of age, Ramadane Cavura, 38 years of age, Bacar Sualé Assumane, 36 yearsof age, and Gilberto Alexandre Inguane, 41 years of age.
Also identified for terrorism crimes were Selemane Muamede Amisse, a 59-year-old Tanzanian national, and Faris Knigt Ahemed, an Ethiopian national of unknown age.
These citizens join 14 others identified in 2024 and 47 identified in 2023 in the National List of Individuals or Legal Entities, Groups, Organizations or Entities designated for involvement in terrorist crimes, their financing and related crimes, particularly in Cabo Delgado province.
