The Mozambique Dredging Company, EMODRAGA, celebrates its 30th anniversary with a renewed vision to modernize its fleet and increase operational capacity.
To this end, the company will acquire a new dredger with a capacity of 3,000 cubic meters, allowing EMODRAGA to carry out dredging more efficiently, both in the Port of Beira and in other port infrastructures in the national market.
EMODRAGA is also planning, in addition to the dredger, the acquisition of a dredging barge with state-of-the-art technology to support dredging operations and ensure the removal of sediments, improving sediment management capacity and contributing to coastal protection.
The information was released this Thursday, on the Café da Manhã program, on Rádio Moçambique, by EMODRAGA’s Production Manager, Arão Massingarela.
He highlighted that the acquisition of this equipment aims to strengthen the company’s position in the national market, ensure the competitiveness of the Port of Beira and contribute to the country’s economic development.
The celebrations of the 30th anniversary of the creation of the Mozambican Dredging Company will be marked with a visit to the Fishing Port and navigation in the channel, among other activities.
