Road traffic on the 16-km road stretch between Ancuabe and Metoro in Cabo Delgado has been closed for four months due to the collapse of Muaguide River bridge, brought about by an overloaded truck.
The company that owns the truck will be held liable for the damage.
Meanwhile, the government has already secured funds for the reconstruction and expansion of the bridge.
Motorbike taxi drivers, undeterred, explain how they manage to get to the other side.
