‘Women Here and Now’ at the Brazil-Mozambique Cultural Centre in Maputo
‘Shared Horizons and Multiple Perspectives’ at Fundação Couto, Maputo
"Shared horizons and multiple perspectives" is the name chosen for a group exhibition by six Mozambican artists being hosted at the Fernando Leite Couto Foundation from September 4th to October 4th.
Famós, Júlio Xirinda, Markos P'Fuka, Pekwia, Saranga and Titos Mucavele met to discuss and reflect, sharing perspectives and new techniques, leading them to seek to simultaneously bring together the three major pictorial conditions in a single collective exhibition: lines, shapes and colours.
The Fernando Leite Couto Foundation hopes visitors to the exhibition will recognize the diversity and talent of this group of outstanding artists and their various artistic expressions, valuing their individual and collective contributions.
This diverse exhibition is the echo of various voices and thoughts that challenge and captivate us.
