Mozambique: Football Federation contract with Chiquinho Conde expires on Wednesday

- Chiquinho Conde’s contract with FMF expires on Wednesday
The contract of the Mozambique National Football Team Coach Chiquinho Conde with the Mozambican Football Federation (FMF) expires on July 31, next Wednesday.
At the moment, there is still no news about his continuation as head coach of the National Football Team.Under Chiquinho Conde’s leadership, the ‘Mambas’ had been achieving encouraging results.
Recently, in a press release, the Mozambican Football Federation expressed interest in extending the contract with Conde and made it public that negotiations were already underway between the two parties, awaiting only the arrival of coach Chiquinho, who was abroad at the time.
Chiquinho Conde’s new contract as National Coach would supposedly run until the end of January 2026, when the 2025 African Nations Championship (CAN) will end, to be hosted by Morocco and run from December 21, 2025 to January 18, 2026, and one of the objectives would be to qualify Mozambique for the event.
