Italy funds Mozambique’s digital transformation

About seven hundred thousand people have participated in literacy and adult education programs in the past three years.
This information was made public this Thursday by the First Lady of the Republic and president of MASMA, at the opening of the National Seminar for Evaluation and Planning of MASMA Activities.
According to Isaura Nyusi, of this number of participants in literacy and adult education programs, more than four hundred thousand were women.
Isaura Nyusi described the involvement of women in the literacy process as satisfactory, which is bringing about changes in their lives.
On the occasion, the Minister of Education and Human Development, Carmelita Nhamashulua, spoke about the impact of this program aimed at reducing illiteracy in the country.
The cooperation partners of this program, in a message presented by Dulce Mungoe, reiterated their commitment to continue supporting the eradication of illiteracy.
The national seminar for evaluation and planning of activities under MASMA is held under the theme: “For an inclusive, patriotic, and quality education.”
