The President of the Republic, Filipe Nyusi, is making a working visit to the province of Zambézia this Friday, according to a statement received by Rádio Moçambique.
In Maganja da Costa, the head of state will inaugurate the new official residence of the District Administrator.
Also, this Friday, President Nyusi will lay the first stone for the asphalting of the roads from Lioma to Mutuali and from Gúruè to Nampevo.
The president will also travel to Milange, where he will inaugurate the new National Social Security Institute (INSS) district delegation building.
The official residence of the administrator of Maganja da Costa is the first of a total of eight model buildings under construction in Zambézia’s districts of Quelimane, Luabo, Derre, Lugela, Molumbo, Iie, Mocubela and Mulevala.
It is a building with two floors, one for the Presidency of the Republic and the other for the district administrator.
The works cost around 89 million meticais, funded by the Ministry of State Administration and Civil Service.
Pereira Arrumação, the Secretary of the Bala circle, at the headquarters town of Maganja da Costa, praised the initiative, noting that the existing building dates back to colonial times.
