Mozambique: Sovereign Wealth Fund pocketed $94.2M in Q1 - Lusa

The Government of Mozambique on Tuesday (27-02) considered and approved a resolution removing Manuela Rebelo from the position of Chair of the Board of Directors of the National Energy Fund (FUNAE), and appointed Isália Deolinda Munguambe Dimene to fill the position in her place.
Rebelo had been appointed to the position in July, 2022, while serving as Deputy Minister of Transport and Communications, assisting then Minister Janfar Abdulai.
Isália Dimene was until her elevation an Executive Board member at FUNAE, Ministry of Mineral Resources and Energy.
In the same session, the government approved three separate resolutions ratifying agreements on the transfer of sentenced prisoners signed with Zambia (2011), Malawi (2012) and Zimbabwe (2016).
