The Mozambican private sector will present an investment package worth US$1.7 billion at this year’s Annual Private Sector Conference (CASP).
These are projects in different areas of the economy for which national entrepreneurs will be seeking funding during the 19th CASP.
The information was shared on Friday by President of the Confederation of Economic Associations of Mozambique (CTA), Agostinho Vuma, during the CASP 2024 launch event.
Mozambique’s CTA, the country’s largest business organisation, has announced that the event – to be held in Maputo on 16-17 May – will bring together more than 20,000 businesspeople from 11 countries.
“This conference and the ongoing interaction with the private sector is proof of the government’s commitment to creating a favourable environment for business and investment,” Minister of Industry and Trade Silvino Moreno said during the launch event.
The Annual Private Sector Conference will be held under the slogan: “Investment and Business in an Environment of Improved Economic Acceleration Measures: Challenges and Opportunities”.
