The rise waters of the Incomati river have cut the road connection between the main town of the district of Magude in Maputo province and some outlying communities.
At the moment, two of the bridges concerned are submerged, and the alternative bridge serving Magude district is completely submerged
The area around the Malhaganini bridge between Magude main town and Mulelemane is currently being used for boat crossings.
The district administration asked in an interview with Radio Mozambique for more boats to be allocated to ferrying members of communities from one point to another.
