It is estimated that the re-categorization of Chimanimani National Park in Sussundenga district, Manica province, will cost more than 70 million meticais [ around 1 million US dollars at current exchange rates] , to be invested up until next December.
Conservation area administrator Leonel Macicame said that the re-categorization would include restoration, the construction of accommodation and the inspection and rehabilitation of around 100 kilometres of roads.
