Absa Bank Mozambique reopened two branches, one in Xai-Xai and the other in Maxixe, on the 5th and 6th of September. This reopening aims to bring its customers closer and improve its investment in technology.
The ceremonies were led by the bank’s Managing Director, Pedro Carvalho, and the Director of Retail Banking and Business at Absa Bank Mozambique, Martha Humbane, and were attended by government entities and representatives of the Bank of Mozambique in the provinces of Gaza and Inhambane.
Managing Director of Absa Bank Mozambique, Pedro Carvalho, said: “Absa branches in the cities of Xai-Xai and Maxixe reaffirm the Bank’s commitment as a financial institution serving Mozambicans and the Mozambican economy. We continue to support our Customers, Employees, Business Partners and the country in general, so that together we can continue to develop our business.”
The agencies reopen with a new image and organisation and a more agile and faster operational dynamic, with technology and an organisational structure where all Absa workers are physically centred on the customer with the aim of serving them in a consistent, proactive and more efficient way.
