The President of the Republic of Kenya, His Excellency William Samoei Ruto, today visited Beluluane Industrial Park.
President Ruto was accompanied by Kenya’s Foreign Affairs Cabinet Secretary Dr Alfred Mutua several and other government officials including the private sector.
MozParks’ General Director Onorio Manuel, shared Mozparks’ experience in the development of the SEZ and IFZ and the interest to develop this sustainable industrial model in Kenya via the African Sustainable Economic Zone Alliance (ASEZA).
The President of Kenya was very impressed with the development that he saw in the Industrial Park.
President Ruto took time to tour the Park and visited Capital Star Steel, (manufactures steel pipe and serves the International Oil and Gas, Mining and Bulk Water industries) and Midal Cables International Limitada (Aluminium and aluminium alloy rod, wire and conductor factory) as part of the official visit to Beluluane Industrial Park.
Both countries shared ideas on various successful and diverse industrial parks experiences and hope to replicate best ideals as a benchmark model for industrial park development in Kenya.
