Mozambique: Health department records new cases of cholera

The Mozambican musician ‘Doppaz’ was released on Thursday, after four days in detention, an official source has told Lusa.
“I now have ‘Doppaz’ at my side and we are going home. He has already been released,” said Faizal Cano, the musician’s agent.
According to Cano, Amândio Munhequeia, popularly known as ‘Doppaz’, was released on bail and is awaiting trial.
The musician was arrested on Sunday and heard a day later in a first interrogation before a Criminal Instruction section judge, the Attorney General’s Office (PGR) of Mozambique said in a note sent to the media on Monday.
The document details that the musician in a video “demands that someone kill the President of the Republic and his son”, an action which presents “evidence of the practice” of crimes of “incitement to collective disobedience” and “public instigation to a crime”.
