‘ECOS’ premieres in Maputo
The film 'ECOS', directed by Gigliola Zacara, premieres on Tuesday, August 15th at the Franco-Mozambican Cultural Centre in Maputo, with two screenings - at 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m..
ECOS presents the courageous testimonies of women who have been victims of gender-based violence and who are being held in the Maputo City Preventive Penitentiary Establishment ('Cadeia Civil').
Not only does the film offer powerful insight into these stories, it also reminds us of the resilience and strength of these women who faced such difficult challenges.
Entrance is free.
