Mozambique: Ministry of Health begins accelerated training of specialist doctors abroad

Two individuals were arrested on Wednesday morning, in the centre of Maputo, accused of attempting to kidnap businessman Mahomed Gurmol, owner of the Gulam Rassul stores, Jornal Domingo reports.
The information was confirmed yesterday by the spokesman for the National Criminal Investigation Service (SERNIC), Hilário Lole, who said that intervention teams from the Police of the Republic of Mozambique (PRM) thwarted the crime.
Meanwhile, information circulating on social media shows that one of the accused was captured as he tried to drag the victim into a vehicle and another was detained in the car park next to the Administrative Tribunal as he tried to escape. Information is also circulating reports that a third member of the gang managed to escape.
