The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, Verónica Macamo, has defended the relaunch of bilateral cooperation between Mozambique and the Czech Republic.
In a meeting in her office on Monday afternoon with Czech Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, Radek Rubes, Minister Macamo stressed that cooperation should focus on economic diplomacy, investments and development projects designed for the creation of employment for young Mozambicans.
In order to achieve this goal, Minister Macamo proposed holding a meeting of the Joint Mozambique-Czech Republic Cooperation Commission, described as an “instrument to catapult cooperation”.
According to a communique quoted by ‘Notícias Online’, the two leaders during their meeting exchanged views on the Mozambican and Czech political and socio-economic situations, as well as on the latest developments on the international scene, particularly in Sudan and Ukraine.
