Mozambique: Who's who in the new government

The President of the Republic, Filipe Nyusi, has decided to decorate 1,732 Mozambicans under the law on Honorary Titles and Decorations, within the scope of the 3rd of February Mozambican Heroes’ Day, celebrated this Friday, Domingo online reports.
The head of state awarded the Samora Moisés Machel Order of the 2nd degree to former Attorney General of the Republic, Joaquim Madeira, and to former President of the Supreme Court, Mário Mangaze.
The Order of the 25th of June of the 1st degree was awarded, posthumously, to Luís Sacramento.
The Technical-Scientific Commission for the Prevention and Response to the Covid-19 Pandemic was collectively awarded the Nachingwea Medal.
The President of the Republic also awarded Adelino Cuambe (Jimmy Dludlu), José Barata and Domingos Simeão Júnior (Salimo Muhamed) the Medal of Merit for Arts and Letters.
President Nyusi also awarded the Labor Merit Medal to Amade Canjy, Augusto Abudo Humguna, Inácio Mabote and Sofia Remane, posthumously.
