The Minister of Mineral Resources and Energy, Carlos Zacarias, last Friday swore into office new members of staff, saying on the occasion that the inauguration took place at a crucial stage in the execution of the government’s Five-Year Program 2020-2024, whose goals for the Mineral Resources and Energy sector required redoubled efforts, especially given the shortening time horizon.
António Cumbane took office as Coordinator of the Local Content Group, Danta Marizane Rosse as Deputy National Director of Geology and Mines, Daniel José Mangue as Head of the Procurement and Assets Division (DAF), Dulce Mondlane as Head of the Central Department of DRH-IGREME, Sílvia Adelaide and Porcina Matola as Executive Secretaries of the GM and Zulfa Mussa as Director of Mining Registration and Licensing Services.
Mário Machungue, Silvino Aguiar and Fila Lázaro were appointed Provincial Delegates of the National Institute of Mines in the provinces of Manica, Niassa and Nampula respectively, Marcelino Moiane was appointed Head of Department at the National Museum of Geology, and Isalia Diolinda and Paulo Eduardo took office as Executive Directors to support FUNAE.
The ceremony was held at the minister’s office and attended by members of the Advisory Board and other MIREME staff.
Minister Carlos Zacarias urged those newly appointed to show dedication, respect for management principles and cooperation. “May your compass be found in the legal instruments of the state so that you can be zealous and ethical in your actions,” Zacarias said.
