So-called ‘paramas’, or ‘naparamas’, individuals supposedly protected by magical powers, have joined communities in the fight against terrorism in the District of Namuno, TVM reports.
The youth movement is reported to be huge.
TVM spoke to some young members of the naparama group in the Administrative Post of Ncumpe, who said they were ‘vaccinated’ by traditional healers for their fight against the terrorists.
They told TVN that they cannot be hit by bullets fired from a gun.
