The government has decided to reinstate several subsidies which were in force before the implementation of the new government Single Salary Table (TSU), under their own statutes and other specific public administration legislation, ‘Noticias reports today.
This measure aims to respond to the general concerns raised by professional groups, whose complaints were forwarded to the Framework Committee established within the scope of the implementation of the TSU and duly endorsed by the executive.
To accommodate the concerns, it was necessary to carry out a specific revision of Decree 51/2022, which establishes the amounts of supplements provided to civil servants, Deputy Minister of Economy and Finance Carla Louveira reported on Wednesday evening at the end of a Cabinet meeting, acting as spokesperson to the 39th Council of Ministers session.
