A truck loaded with cement bags burned down on the Maputo-Katembe bridge this afternoon, as it was heading towards the city of Maputo.
According to SENSAP spokesman Leonildo Pelembe, the fire was caused by an electrical problem in the panel, which led to the explosion.
The driver said he was caught by surprise by the fire while moving on the bridge , adding that, as he stopped the vehicle, the fire spread, completely consuming the Logística Land truck.
