The National Criminal Investigation Service (SERNIC) neutralized this Friday, October 21, 2022, in the city of Tete, an animal trafficker and poacher with about 94 kg of ivory from elephants they killed in the Magoé National Park. and neighbouring Zimbabwe.
Batuelo Campaundi Tsongola, 55 years old, was caught at 5 a.m. in Tete City when he was trying to sell Ivory.
Batuelo Campaundi Tsongola said that three elephants had been killed in Magoé National Park but one had been killed in Zimbabwe’s Muzarabana Chidodo Reserve. In total, he killed four elephants.
