Beluluane Power Plant: Construction begins next year, confirms MozParks – Watch

A thermal power plant with the capacity to generate 2,000 megawatts of energy is to be built in Beluluane, in the district of Boane, Maputo province.
The General Director of MozParks Onório Boane confirmed that construction works will begin next year.
Budgeted at US$2.8 billion, the Beluluane Gas-Fired Power Plant will produce energy for export.
