The insurance company Fidelidade Impar announced today the acquisition of a portfolio of policies from Tranquilidade Moçambique, with effect from Saturday, October 1st.
Tranquilidade’s policies are now “managed by Fidelidade Impar, thus ensuring the continuity of risk, during the current insurance period, without any change to the agreed conditions”, the company announced.
Carlos Leitão, chairman of the Executive Committee of Fidelidade Impar, welcomed the new customers in a statement and described the measure in terms of Impar’s commitment to the Mozambican market.
“For Fidelidade Impar, this acquisition reinforces our commitment to Mozambique and our growth strategy,” he said.
Fidelidade Impar is a brand of Seguradora Internacional de Moçambique, resulting from the acquisition of 70% of Impar by Fidelidade at the end of 2021.
The insurer claims to have about 330,000 customers, with more than 200 employees and a network of more than 100 intermediaries.
