The Standing Commission of the Assembly of the Republic (CPAR) has scheduled the VI Ordinary Session of the Assembly of the Republic to start on October 6th and end on December 15th, 2022.
Thirty agenda items are listed, including the Annual Report of the Head of State on the State of the Nation, Annual Report of the Ombudsman, information from the government and questions to the government, and consideration of the proposal for the revision of Law 5/2022, of February 14, which approves the Single Salary Table (TSU).
The list of matters also provides for consideration by the MPs of the Draft Law on the Economic and Social Plan and the State Budget for 2023, the Draft Law on Press, the Draft Law on Broadcasting, as well as the draft law for the revision of the Organic Law of the Assembly of the Republic.
Parliamentarians will also examine the Draft Law on Research in Human Health, the Higher Education Law, the Professional Education Law, the Foreign Exchange Law, as well as the proposal establishing the Legal Regime for Bank Accounts.
Internally, parliament plans to examine the proposal for the Program of Activities of the Assembly of the Republic and the respective Budget for 2023, information from the Commission on Petitions, Complaints and Claims, information from the Parliamentary Office for the Prevention and Combat of HIV/ AIDS and the Draft Law on the Statute of Parliamentary Officials and Agents.
