Police in Nampula say they have sent home the 29 youths from Nacala and Memba found in Cabo Delgado and thought to be vulnerable to terrorist recruitment propaganda.
Last week, the police in Nampula presented 29 people who had allegedly arrived in Palma, Macomia and Mocímboa da Praia in Cabo Delgado province from Nacala and Memba.

The PRM said that it had no criminal evidence against the detainees, but suspected that they might be enticed into terrorist groups by recruiters, and therefore decided they should be returned to their places of origin to avoid such a contingency.
Nampula police spokesman Zacarias Nacute clarified that some of the detainees were being returned to Memba district, where security is still not 100% assured.
At the same press conference, Nacute failed to provide details on whether the owners of the two drones shot down by the police last week had been located.

Nampula province last week recorded another collision between a car and a train, this time in Malema district, but without any casualties.
