Mozambique: New actors join political dialogue in the country

Eduardo Mondlane University (UEM) will on Friday, 16 September, award an Honorary Doctorate Degree to the President of the Republic, Filipe Nyusi, for his achievements in the areas of biodiversity and climate change.
A publication in the Boletim da República, dated 2 September this year, highlights the fundamental role of the Head of State in advocating before regional and international decision-makers for the implementation of effective conservation measures and mitigation of the effects of climate change.
The document highlights the Government’s leadership in the search for partnerships to combat sea pollution, the implementation of legal reforms in the area of biodiversity and programs that resulted in the mitigation of the effects of climate change.
