Eneas Comiche to chair parliamentary commission of inquiry into public debt

The chairman of the Planning and Budget Commission in Parliamentary, Eneas Comiche (Frelimo MP) , will chair the parliamentary commission set up to investigate the situation of public debt in the country.
Also joining the commission are Edson Macuacua, Mateus Katupha, Lucas Chomera Francisco Mucanheia, Alberto Matukutuku, Jaime Neto, Olinda Langa and Esmeralda Muthemba from Frelimo, and Venancio Mondlane from the Democratic Movement of Mozambique.
The commission is composed of 17 members appointed by the three benches in accordance with the parliamentary principle of proportional representation and will submit its final report by 31 November.
Main opposition party Renamo has boycotted the commission.
