President Nyusi opens Mozambique Gas & Energy Summit

President Filipe Nyusi today led the opening of the Mozambique Gas & Energy Summit in Maputo city.
The 7th Mozambique Gas & Energy Summit & Exhibition is being held at the Joaquim Chissano Conference Centre this Wednesday and Thursday under the motto “Fostering Global Partnerships, Sustainable Security & Economic Growth”.
A statement from the Presidency of the Republic styles the event as an opportunity for governments, operators, and small and medium-sized companies to assess the constantly evolving energy landscape, as well as explore ideas and approaches in the energy world.
The statement adds that the summit is also intended to promote partnerships for economic growth in the energy resources sector.
