Mozambique: MIREME present at Mozambique in the UK Week

Mozambique’s Minister of Mineral Resources and Energy, Carlos Zacarias, is representing the government in the ‘Mozambique in the United Kingdom’ week in the UK cities of London and Glasgow.
Visits to various projects, debates and round tables are planned for the week, the Mozambican delegation having opportunities to present potential in the areas of agriculture and energy, with a focus on the energy transition and opportunities for investment in renewable energies.
The minister’s agenda in the UK includes bilateral meetings with the UK Secretary of State for International Trade, Anne-Marie Trevelyan, and Exports Minister, Mike Freer, plus participating in the Africa Forum London.
The Mozambique in the UK Week follows on from the 2020 UK/Africa investment summit, where investment opportunities in the country were presented.
