The enterprises will be built as part of the ‘Industrialise Mozambique’ presidential initiative, their implementation steps having already been identified.
The Angónia district administrator Raimundo Bruno explained that supporting the agro-processing industry in the area would, by generating an internal market, mitigate loss of production by local farmers.
Bruno also revealed that local authorities there are pursuing the idea of making the local Chindeque improved seeds processing unit operational.
