From the 1st of June, seven more tolls will start operating along National Roads Numbers 1, 7 and 13. Toll fees vary from 50 to 1000 meticais.
The tolls along national roads, built under the Self-Sustained Road Maintenance Program, come into operation next Wednesday.
These are the tolls all along National Road Number 1 at Chidenguele, in Gaza province, and at Nhacundela, Malova, Mapinhane, in Inhambane province.
Also the Camuaza toll, in Manica province, on National Road Number 7, and the Congerenge and Utukulo tolls, in Niassa, on National Road Number 1.
Class 1 vehicles will pay 50 meticais; Class 2 will pay 200 meticais, Class 3 will pay 500 meticais and Class 4 will pay 1,000 meticais , a joint statement by the National Administration of Roads and the Road Fund sent to O País newsroom informs.
The same document includes the monthly fees to be paid by residents, including urban passenger transport vehicle operators, with Class 1 paying 300 meticais and Class 2 paying 500 meticais.
