Four vehicles delivered
In addition, Frelimo secretary general also launched the program for the replacement of resources, delivering four vehicles destined for the party headquarters located in the districts of Muidumbe, Mocimboa da Praia, Quissanga and Palma.
Roque Silva said the vehicles would not only serve the work of the party, but also support the return to normal life in the districts by being used to solve people’s daily problems.
The Frelimo secretary-general called on Frelimo militants and sympathisers to take the lead in rebuilding areas once plagued by terrorism through increased surveillance and collaboration with the defence and security forces, and Rwandan and SADC troops.
After Mocimboa da Praia, the Frelimo SG visited Mueda and Chiure districts. In the latter, Roque Silva collected information on proposed motions for the Frelimo 12th Congress, scheduled for September this year in Maputo province.
