High Commissioner Amade Miquidade presents letter of credence to President Kagame of Rwanda

Amade Miquidade has presented his letter of credence to President Paul Kagame as the first High Commissioner of Mozambique in Rwanda.
The former Minister of the Interior delivered the letter on April 26, thereby boosting existing ties of friendship and cooperation between Mozambique and Rwanda, a country located in the Great Lakes Region.
President Kagame congratulated the new High Commissioner and welcomed him to Rwanda. In reply, Amide Miquidade thanked the President for the honour of becoming the first High Commissioner of Mozambique to take up residence in Kigali.
Miquidade also thanked Rwanda for its support in fighting terrorism in northern Mozambique.

The Rwandan Head of State asked the High Commissioner to convey to his Mozambican counterpart and to the Mozambican people his congratulations on this development in bilateral cooperation.
