Four crossing points on the border between Mozambique and Tanzania in Cabo Delgado will be built this year, as a way of improving the monitoring of migratory movement.
One of the four will be situated in Nangade district, two in Palma district and one in Mueda district. The posts will aim to improve working conditions and provide an adequate response to users of the National Migration Service in that part of Cabo Delgado.
Spokesman for the provincial Migration Directorate in Cabo Delgado, Ivo Sampanha, told Rádio Moçambique that funds for the construction of the infrastructure had already been secured, and that the process of hiring of contractors was now under way.
