State-owned company Correios de Moçambique has announced that the process of evaluating its real estate assets at national level, resulting from the implementation of the decree that winds up the company, is in the conclusive phase.
A note from the company reveals that it has become aware of the existence of individuals masquerading as real estate agents appointed by the company to intermediate the process of selling its real estate assets, in particular.
In the note, made public a few days ago and signed by the President of the Liquidation Commission, Raimundo Matule, Correios de Moçambique makes it clear that it has not indicated any collective or individual entities to intermediate the sale of its real estate property and warns that any transactions with these entities will be illegal.
“Within the scope of Decree nº 32/21, of 31 May, which extinguishes the company, the evaluation of the real estate under consideration is in the conclusive phase,” the note declares.
The company urges all interested parties and the general public not to transact any assets or any real estate property of Correios de Moçambique in the national territory outside the public tender process to be launched presently.
