INAM forecasts light to moderate rains in central and northern Mozambique

The National Institute of Meteorology (INAM) is today forecasting for the north and centre of the country, cloudy skies and rain accompanied by thunderstorms and winds, sometimes gusting.

In the central region, the cities of Beira, Chimoio, Tete and Quelimane may register maximum temperatures of 31, 26, 32 and 30 °C and minimums of 24, 17, 23 and 23°C, respectively.

The cities of Nampula, Pemba and Lichinga, in the north of the country, may see maximum temperatures of 29, 31 and 23°C and minimum temperatures of 22, 24 and 12°C , respectively.

For the cities of Maputo, Xai-Xai, Inhambane and Vilankulo, in the south of the country, highs of 30,30,27 and 29°C and lows of 20, 20, 23 and 23°C are expected, respectively.
