Mozambique: Maputo Municipality aims to Improve solid waste collection

By orders dated February 15th and March 9th of the current year, the Minister of the Interior, Arsénia Massingue, on Wednesday (16-03) appointed several cadres to management and leadership positions in the National Criminal Investigation Services (SERNIC).
Arlindo Nota Benotakes was appointed and sworn in to the post of Inspector of SERNIC; Ntego Crisanto Ntego as National Director of Criminal Investigation and Instruction at SERNIC; Mário Albertowas as Director of INTERPOL’s National Office at SERNIC; Belmiro Silvestre Guinda as new head of the Central Legal Department; Vitorino Joaquim Lihahe as Head of the Central Department of Studies, Planning, Analysis and Statistics at SERNIC; Vasco Samuel as Provincial Director of SERNIC in Maputo City; Suzete João Muianga as Director of SERNIC in Gaza; Jordão Afonso Massingue as Provincial Director of SERNIC in Sofala; Sérgio Aníbal Vumbuca as Provincial Director of SERNIC in Nampula and Sinésio Machona Dias as Provincial Director of SERNIC in Cabo Delgado.
Addressing the new incumbents, Minister Arsénia Massingue peremptorily required those now in positions of leadership to “… clarify the crimes in a diligent, fast and expeditious manner”.
At the ceremony in Maputo City, Guebuza Guiliche Mahavene, an academic of recognized merit was also sworn in as Advisor to the Minister of the Interior.
