Authorities in Sussundenga district, in Manica province, have repeated their invitation to entrepreneurs to invest in the construction of accommodation for tourists visiting Chimanimani National Park.
With just two weeks to go before the official start of the tourist season in a conservation area this year declared one of the twenty-five best destinations in the world, the administrator of Sussundenga has announced several activities.
Of these, the Monte Binga Festival and the Chicamba Dam stand out, Tomás Razão said. These are regular events and attract many national and international tourists.
Razão indicated the areas of hospitality, gastronomy and training of tourist guides as priorities in a push to boost tourism in the region.
Mount Binga, the highest point in Mozambique and a major attraction for tourists, is located in Chimanimani National Park.
