President of the Republic Filipe Jacinto Nyusi today starts a two-day working visit to Sofala province.
According to a statement sent to Notícias, during his stay in that province, the head of state will this Wednesday preside over the launch ceremony of the “One District, One Meteorological Station” project in the town of Zimuala, Machanga district,
Still today, President Nyusi travels to Marínguè district, where he will be opening a bank branch, as part of the government’s project to “bankarise” the Mozambican economy for greater financial inclusion.
According to the presidency communique, on Thursday, President Nyusi will travel to the district of Dondo to inaugurate the UniLicungo University Campus, and then, in the city of Beira, will direct the opening ceremony of an industrial unit.
President Nyusi is accompanied on this visit by Minister of Transport and Communications, Janfar Abdulai; of Agriculture and Rural Development, Celso Correia; of Industry and Commerce, Silvino Moreno; and of Science, Technology and Higher Education, Daniel Navigara; plus members of staff of the Presidency of the Republic and other state institutions.
