Mozambique: President extends term of PRM General Commander

The President of the Republic, Filipe Nyusi, yesterday extended the mandate of the General Commander of the Police of the Republic of Mozambique (PRM), Bernardino Rafael.
Bernardino Rafael was appointed General Commander of the PRM in October 2017. His mandate therefore expired a month ago.
Bernardino Rafael’s second term ends in 2025.
