Benfica beat FC Barcelona (3-0) on Wednesday night, more than 60 years since their last win over the Catalans, in the second match of Group E of the Champions League, climbing to second place.
Not since the final of the European Champions Cup in 1960/61 had Benfica beaten the Catalans, something they did again today, with two goals from Darwin Nuñez (03 and 79 minutes), the second from a penalty kick, and Rafa (69).
After two games, Benfica have four points, two less than Bayern Munich, who thrashed Dinamo Kiev 5-0 on Wednesday. The Ukrainians have one point and FC Barcelona zero.
