The city of Tete could register the highest temperature in the country today, with a maximum of 41°C and a minimum of 24°C, after Quelimane, Chimoio and Nampula with maximums of 35°C, 34°C and 34°C and minimums of 21°C, 17°C and 21°C respectively.
A hot sunny day is also in the cards for Pemba and Inhambane, which may register a maximum of 31°C and 30°C and a minimum of 22°C for both.
Mozambique’s remaining cities look set for milder temperatures, with Lichinga and Vilankulo both recording maximum temperatures of 29°C and minimums of 13°C and 19°C respectively.
A maximum of 28°C is forecast for Maputo, Xai-Xai and Beira, with minimum temperatures of 19°C, 20°C and 21°C respectively.
