The president of Nampula Municipal Council, Paulo Vahanle, is on a trip to Brazil, specifically to the municipality of Belo Horizonte, the capital of Minas Gerais state, where, over the next three weeks, he will establish partnerships with a view to developing the city of Nampula, especially its access roads.
The information was shared exclusively with Ikweli by the director of Communication and Image at Nampula Municipal Council, Nelson Carvalho.
“The president of the Municipal Council of the city of Nampula will travel to Brazil from this Sunday with the aim of discussing projects related to the development of our municipality,” Carvalho said. “I cannot say exactly how many days the president will stay in Brazil but it will take two or three weeks, because he will interact with various cooperation partners”.
“Our vision is to find projects that can leverage our governance,” the source said, “and that can satisfy our residents, through the activities that will be carried out in our municipality. The projects cover various sectors, including the finance component, access roads and water supply, but we are sure that many projects could be approved, and we may have some surprises in the coming days.”
Mayor Vahanle is accompanied by the municipality finance councillor and other cadres, Carvalho added.
