Mozambican Maria de Assunção Coelho Leboeuf Abdula was elected president of the Federation of Women Entrepreneurs of the Community of Portuguese Language Countries (FME-CPLP) during the body’s general assembly last week in Lisbon.
CPLP Executive Secretary Murade Murargy said that the creation of the FME-CPLP had lent the organisation strength and dynamism, while President of the CPLP Business Confederation Salimo Abdula stressed the opportunities in CPLP countries, adding that it was time for countries to begin facing their potential with greater seriousness in order to create employment and social security for their populations, especially the young.
